Delegates of the Jaycees Caribbean Queen Show were taken on tour of the offices of quite a few of their sponsors yesterday. Top Ranking, Qrios and Stanford Financial Group were among some of the stops the girls made.
However, a highlight of their tour was the stop made at the offices of platinum sponsors Kennedy’s Club Ltd.
The nine contestants met with Neil Cochrane, sales marketing manager, Donna Francis, financial controller, Pauline Francis, director and other members of the Kennedy’s club team.
According to Pauline, Kennedy’s Club Ltd. has been involved in Carnival for close to 15 years and their relationship with the Jaycees competition has lasted for just as long.
“We are delighted to be working along with the Jaycees which is why we’ve continued to work along with them over the years,” Francis said.
“We have been heavily involved in providing sponsorship during Carnival, we have sponsored quite a few local queen contestants as well. We are really happy to be onboard with the Jaycees and are always willing to give the support,” she added.
Fitzroy Carr, chairperson of the Jaycees Caribbean Queen Show, said the show was expected to be of a very high standard this year.
The young ladies were presented with gifts of liquor from their platinum sponsors.
The 46th annual Jaycees Caribbean Queen Show will be held tomorrow night at Carnival City. |
